Yes, our Active Scent Laundry Detergent works perfectly in both warm and cold water! We actually recommend using cold water, as it’s much more environmentally friendly by reducing the energy needed to heat the water.
If you switch between different Active Scent products during washes, will the fragrances blend together?
Many of our customers regularly switch between different Active Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent fragrances based on individual preferences in the household. We haven’t received any reports of the scents blending in a noticeable way. Any lingering fragrance in the washing machine shouldn’t affect the scent performance of your next wash.
What’s the proper way to use the liquid Active Scent detergent doses?
1 Dose = 1 regular load (about 6 pounds of laundry).
Use 2 doses for large loads or high-capacity machines. The number of doses may vary depending on the desired scent strength and load size.
Make sure your hands are dry before removing the doses from the package.
For front-loading machines, place the liquid laundry detergent dose directly at the back of the drum, not in the detergent compartment.
For top-loading machines, place the liquid laundry detergent dose directly at the bottom of the drum, towards the back.
Add your clothes and start the machine.
For optimal scent strength, line dry your laundry or use a tumble dryer on low heat.
What is the best way to store Active Scent liquid laundry detergent doses?
Active Scent liquid laundry detergent doses should be kept in their original containers, ensuring the lid is tightly closed when not in use. Store the doses out of reach and sight of children and pets. The recommended storage conditions are 77°F and 50% relative humidity. High humidity levels can cause the doses to clump together or even burst open. If the liquid laundry detergent doses stick together, avoid trying to separate them. Always handle the doses with dry hands.
